NSR 105

NSR 105 - Dublin's Music Machine

NSR 105 was an unlicenced radio station that ran from South Dublin for just over two years, from October 1991 to December 1993. The station broadcast from Stillorgan, Co. Dublin and used several frequencies during its period on air, including 105.1, 105.3, 105.5 and 107.2; it also experimented with transmissions on 1242 khz AM and on SW.

The general format of the station during its two-year existence was chart and dance music, but veered, during certain periods of its existence, to be more dance-orientated.

This website is an attempt to chart the history of the station over the two years that it broadcast in the early 1990s. Contributions are welcome by anyone who was involved in NSR, or anyone who has any material such as photographs and recodrings of the station.
